"Rules for Giving Flowers"

When it comes to giving flowers there are no rules because It's the thought that counts. Its a way of letting someone know that you love them or in some cases, I hate your guts.

Flowers have many meanings, also different colors have a meaning of their own.I will give you a few meanings to think about when you decide to give some for whatever reason.

Roses are given more then any other flower.Pink roses mean friendship,Red roses mean passion,red and white roses mean unity,white roses mean purity and yellow roses mean zealous.

Finally giving zinnias means thoughts of friends.

Had a wonderful thanksgiving. Lots of family, food and friends.house guest for a whole week and I am tired. Its wonderful to have family visiting but in the end you are ready for a break.

Some times I think its nice to own your own business, and then again with all of the headaches that go along with it, I wonder if its worth it. I have one young man that works for me that is driving me crazy, by the way you all know him from wrecking the womans car the first night he met her. I really don't know any other way to describe him except as a loser.

HE is a family friend that has worked for me about 2 years. He is a very good designer. I taught him by the way, he has a real talent for it. The problem is he is not dependable. If there is a party going on he has to go, someone going to magic mountain he will take off and go. He has been suspended more than once. My problem now is that i caught him smoking weed or something behind the shop yesterday, he doesn't smoke cigarettes so I knew it was something illegal when he took off to his car with it. He was so shocked to see me as he thought that I was inside.When confronted with it he denied smoking anything when I clearly saw the smoke.

I don't know what to do, I hate to terminate him because I know he is really down on his luck right now, then again is he a danger to have around? I really need some advice on this.

Happy Thanksgiving

Last night was not very good for me or my neighbors.While doing my normal routine of tblogging around 10:00pm I heard shots, I was hoping that I was not hearing right and that maybe it was the television but no such luck. I go to the window after hearing the screeching tires and loud noises. I was thinking that I should go and call the cops but they were here so fast that I didn't have to. They had my neighbors teenagers and about seven of thier friends lined up in a row sitting on the sidewalk and the other cops were looking all over with their flash lights I guess for a gun. I finally got brave enough to go outside to talk with one of them. I told him that I had heard the gunfire and wanted to know had anyone been hurt, he informed me that someone had been injured the next street over. They were out there past 2:00am  scearching . Today I found out that the kid that got shot was my next door neighbors kid. They moved about 6 months ago and he was here visiting a friend. He was shot in the face,hand and back. He is in intensive care and really need our prayers. I can only imagine the pain  this family is going through. They were the nicest neighbors, we were always bringing food and flowers to each other. As far as my neighbors across the street, THey said one of their sons is involved somehow, all over some girl.I am devastated over the whole thing.

A friend of mine went to the club last week and met a 40 year old woman that he met on the dance floor and he said the woman was just all over him. I guess she thought he was pretty hot.One thing led to another and she invited him to go home with her. She told him to leave his car at the club and drive hers, She lives way in Hemet, as he get her almost home he said he looked over at her for just a second and the next thing you know he has plowed into the back of someones truck that he said was sticking out a little to far. I'll tell you that it was a very expensive look because he completely totaled her car and did quite a bit of damage to the truck. I think that she will be a little more careful before picking up someone and inviting him to drive her truck. Plus she never even got the night of passion that she was after. She ended up with two black eyes and a bruised body instead. Think she learned anything, I hope so.

Busy Day , lots of orders for flowers, mostly birthdays and anniversaries. few people actually walking in, most calling in and paying with their c/c over the phone. hope everyone is having a good day.

Went shopping today at walmart, one of my favorite places to shop.I was in the yarn section, as I am in the crocheting mood again. My friends daughter just had a baby boy. While shopping I came upon this young man and his grandmother, she was helping him to find yarn for a scarf. I was surprised that he was the one going to knit the scarf so I worked my way into their conservation. They drove down from Julian Ca., By the way the very name Julian makes me think apple pies they make the best pies there. They were very friendly people, found out that a friend had taught him to knit and he loved it and was making scarves for his family. I know how to knit but prefer crocheting ,don't have to worry about the dropped stitches. Well we exchanged numbers and maybe we will meet again someday, I promised to email him some of my favorite sites.
