I am going to Vegas for 3 days to just chill out and see a few shows,play a few slots and maybe I will get lucky or maybe I will just leave a donation. Either way I will be well rested when I get back. I will be staying at the Alladin hotel this time, its 4 star so I won't be expecting any surprises like the urine stained carpets that I found at the so called luxury hotel in Santa Monica.

We have been reading a lot about our Vice President unfortunate shooting accident. When reading the wierd news over the weekend it was an article about a woman that was brought into the hospital emergency room with a swollen abdomen and  pain, an Xray was done and it revealed that her appendix was full of buckshot pellets. apparently the family went hunting often and naturally they ate what they killed..even though they cleaned it as best they could and cooked it ,the pellets are so small that you ingest a few each time you eat, they usually are digested and pass easily through the intestines but if they get trapped in the appendix they remain there, hence this poor womans perdicament. I showed this story to my husband and this brought back memories of when he used to go hunting with his dad as a boy, he said that his dad always said if you had to shoot it twice it had to be thrown away because it was to full of buckshots to eat, The funny part was when he said he would always cry because he never got it on the first shot and his had to be thrown away. I was ROTFL at the thought of him crying.
